Scope examples for approvals, reporting and integration.
Illustrative scopes for three types of request. These are hypothetical examples, not completed client engagements.
Approval routing configuration
Example: purchasing requests wait while a budget owner is unavailable. The review separates requests that a delegate can decide from those outside delegated authority. Configuration work can then apply the agreed routing rules in the existing tool.
- A workflow map and role definitions.
- Revised forms, queues or approval rules.
- Configuration notes and checks for corrections, absences and urgent requests.
Report reconciliation
Example: an operations report and a finance report place the same transactions in different months. The review matches record identifiers and compares event dates, posting dates and adjustments before deciding whether either query needs changing.
- Metric definitions and source-field references.
- Reconciliation queries and a worked sample.
- Documented adjustments and differences requiring review.
Integration recovery
Example: a transfer times out and the operator cannot tell whether the destination saved the record. The work can establish a lookup by source identifier, define when a retry is safe and add the required checks to the connection. Application access and permission to modify it are required.
- Connector code or configuration where included.
- Transfer checks covering failures and repeated requests.
- Operating instructions for retries and manual recovery.
